"I never knew that I would learn so much from my internship. I didn't just learn about how people with mental illness deal with their illness on an everyday basis, but I learned how to communicate better with people, how to plan activities for a group, and also how to get things done correctly but quickly. I really enjoyed my internship at NAMI, and I will really miss the staff and clients!"
