Ten people with Wright State connections, including an engineering professor and police sergeant, were named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 2019 “Forty Under 40” list.

Wright State University honored more than 2,000 graduating students at its spring commencement ceremony May 4 in the Wright State Nutter Center.

Wright State University President Cheryl B. Schrader addressed the class by focusing on many of the graduates' achievements in the last year. "Class of 2019, each of you has left your own unique mark on our Wright State family and community," said Schrader.

On Friday April 26, eleven students were nominated for lifetime membership in the Wright State chapter of Pi Delta Phi, la Société d’Honneur Française. They met the strict scholastic requirements for membership, having a minimum GPA of 3.25 in their French courses and a minimum 3.0 overall GPA. The

The Public History concentration at Wright State integrates a traditional history curriculum with courses taught by professionals in archives, museum studies, and historic preservation; an internship; and a project leading to a Master of Arts degree in history with a specialization in public history.
